4 Reasons why you need a NIN in the Diaspora
- It is mandatory for All Nigerians, for identification.
- It will soon be needed for opening Nigerian Bank Accounts, etc.
- It is now Mandatory for renewal of Nigerian International Passport.
- Nigerian Telecom Companies have been asked by the Regulators to disconnect SIM Cards of customers who do not have a NIN.

1. Nigerian International Passport (Valid or Expired)
2. Nigerian Birth Certificate
3. Attestation Letter from Nigerian Embassy / Mission
4. Government ID for staff of FGN
And your BVN number (if you have any) you must bring it along with you.
NOTE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING ONLY ONE OF THE ABOVE LISTED DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH YOUR BVN (IF YOU DO HAVE ONE)
